Question Anyone else do this?

I always try to find a parking spot with at least 6 free spaces next to me, or I'll park on the street like 50 feet from the nearest car.

Door dings are a royal pain in the ***, and they are impossible to fix.

Right now, I have almost 5,000 miles on my '04 and not ONE scratch, dent, ding, etc.... I'm trying to see how long this lasts....

Anyone else this **** about parking? Or am I just a freak?

I got a ding.
I liked how clean the coupe looks but that ding ruins all
They need to remove the door, fix it and repaint it.

okie, you guys are aware all dings 2 inches away from a side panel can be removed without painting? I get my car undinged about once every three months. indinged lol I mean fix. Just look it up in the yellow pages and call the ding doctor. its like 80 bucks per a whole panel, he will do everything. Your guy should too... Now I just got a big problemw ith my car accident and all >.<. However I havent got dings in like 6 months after I did all crap to my car people start staring not hitting

^^he talks truth!,
I had my drivers fender crushed in my office parking lot (ofcourse nobody will fess up to it) and I had it repaired by a paintless dent repair man here in vegas. He did an excelent job repairing the body line and matching the other fender.

now you cant even tell that it was ever wrecked! as a note, my fender damage was much larger than a grapefruit.

I have a really really annoying ding on my door..I hate it..I'll probably get it taken out.

I'd park really far away at work if I wasn't such an easy target when I walk out of work at night and there weren't reports of people getting their stuff jacked. I'm paranoid.

i park as far away as possible. the good thing is, if you go with your friends to the mall or something, they wont want you to drive if they know u park like a mile away from the front door.

i'm like that about parking too...i park away from everyone...but now i'm afraid to do that since this girl with a driving permit rear-ended me when i was at work already working for an hour...no cars around where i was parked...she had to pick the space behind me...i dont know how it happened but she knocked me halfway out of the parking spot with my emergency brake on (habit to put my emergency brake on when i park...i have a fear of the car rolling away for some odd reason)

i had a saturn and i broke the e brake release button. so i had to put it in gear everytime i parked. apparently one time i didnt cuz, i parked and i was walking into work and, a guy came running up to me "hey buddy your cars rolling away!" sure enough when i turned around the car had rolled out of the parking spot and was blocking traffic in the parking lot.

I park where I can find a spot, but I try to stay away from cars that look like crap without insurance..I even park right next to the cart return things...as one says, the safest place is the most dangerous place. The more you worry about ur car getting dented, the likely-hood of it happening increases.

**** I just park wherever, I get dings and dents no matter what. The first ding I got was after I had my car for 3 days. only had maybe 80 miles on the car. I parked at a resturant and apparently someone opened their door into my door. *******s. Recently someone keyed my car in the rear. People these days have no respect for anything.

speaking of dents, My most dreaded enemy is gravel trucks, umm scratch that trucks in general. once a week I end up with match sticks in my hand touching my front bumper up from stone marks. I had a crack in my window..Not I say had ..now I dont have a window lol! Its okay, my car should be all like new really soon indeed.

oh god the first week i had my car i was at circuit city (work) only for a couple minutes to drop in and pick up something, ... i come out and i had a nice paint chip above my gas cover, i was so angry, so from now on anytime i go out anywhere i park in the middle of no where, even at the mall. My favorite is pulling into a parking spot right at the first or last spot, next to the curb, because then the chances of a cart hitting it is slim because im far away and already secured one side of my car lol

you guys should try parking next to really nice cars like a benz or BMW or lexus or something... usually those people will be more careful because they won't want to ding their own car.

Not always true though. My boss is almost 70 years old. He's on his 2nd 600SL this year because he keeps wrecking them. He SLAMS his door into the cars next to him as well. He has more money than god, so I guess it's all good to him..... assbag.. LOL
