why is my 04 so slow?

i went to the track and my bone stock 04 SI pulled a whopping 16.2 @86 mph.

i hate my car..convince me that mods will make me run 13s NA...

Internal motor work will help you get closer to 13s. What is your 60 foot time? Just cause you got a 16.2 doesn't mean your car is slow. It could that you are not as good as driving it. I'm not trying to be a d*ch, but I'm just stating some of the facts with racing. Plus how many miles are on your SI? I know that the new SI takes longer to break in. So that could be a factor too.

Also, USDM SI or Canadian SI?

Canadian SI = USDM EX, so thats also important to know.

Please don't start threads like this. It doesnt take a genius to tell you that it's a Ultra Low Emissions vehicle designed for fuel economy...not speed. If you didn't know that before you bought it, it's your fault.
