The shots and vid of it from this site (http://autoshow.edmunds.nytimes.com...how..leftnav.29) make it look pretty good...I'm especially liking the specs.

I think it looks kinda cool, except from the back.
I also like this (as born2xLr8 posted)

that touched pic reminded me of a neon for some reason.... the only decent looking eclipses were the older ones, then f&f came out and ricers went crazy with green paint....
I would take a 1st or 2nd gen over any Civic!!!! My bro has had both, drove them off the showroom floor, he has raced the hell out of them!! And they are still going!!! If you take care of the damn car then it lasts!! The only thing that has ever gone wrong was, on the 1st gen AWD you had to be carefull on the launch, if you launched to hard then there goes the rear diff!!! Other than replacing the clutch once on both of them, there hasnt been one thing wrong!!! Its funny because everybody that turbos their civic, are still slower than a stock 1st gen Eclipse!!!
And whats even more hilarious is that for the price of buying the turbo and installing it, You can buy a 1st gen AWD Honda eatin, VTEC $hitin beast!!!!! Just my 2 cents!!! And in my opion the last Eclipse was the 2nd gen!!! They need to call the 3rd gen and up something else!! Because it is a waste of a car!!!!! And as far as the motor in the 1st and 2nd gens, you can see it brand new in any Evo 8!!! The Evo just has a bigger turbo!!!
