Rep Power: 0 Did you see the R32 Volkswagon. its a golf body with a vr6 engine turbo'd like 320hhp stock. Then they have an upgrade package, the highest being 25000 more, but out of factory 600hp. CRAZY. It was in Car and Driver magazine.It's crazy. Only like 1300 are coming to the states

I saw one at the DC autoshow. Everyone was staring at it and trying to get into it. Sweet specs. It's got awd but I'm not a big fan fo the hatch.
The Phaeton looked sweet too. Too bad you couldn't hop in it cus it was on display.

It seems as if its a moot point now since the 05 Golf lineup sports a 250HP engine option and is due later this year. The R32 has been out in europe for a couple years now, I'm not sure if the intent to send them this way ever materialized... certainly at this point, its not worth it with just 6-8 months before the new one is released.

Rep Power: 0 VW does own Lamborghini and the Nardo was a car VW did to enter the supercar scene. so this is a hybrid lamborghini-VW collaboration.
IMO the best looking supercar out there is the ferrari ENZO. that thing is just lookwise amazing.
