kool how they added an import into their mag, but they were still putting them down in a way... thats why i hate domestic mags!

sorry, i know this is off-topic, but in the 9th paragraph down of the article, it says

"It (the head) is extensively ported and extra texture is added to critical areas to promote turbulence. Widmer advises against polishing intake ports as gasoline will suck onto smooth surfaces and then release in droplets as they grow in size, resulting in poor fuel atomization."

i was just wondering if this is true and has anyone tried to add "texture" for turbulence?

Everythig ive always been told and read is polish the exhaust , and not the intake for that reason. But im sure there is more to it then a do or dont anwser

believable since he did all his work himself, he didn't have to pay for labor. im guessing in 1989 the car cost him like 1500-2000.

..he also said 6000$ for a similar motor...im guessin parts....i wonder how much hed charge for labor to do that to my 91 hatch in the back yard
