Why do people assume because I own a Civic I think its fast? Like at school people are always saying "Oh you want to race me in your little Civic, I'll show you up" and im like hello its a stock Civic! And i'll just be driving along and camero's and mustang gt's will reve at me, like I think I have a chance... it's really irritating how people assume everyone with a Civic thinks it's fast...

I haven't had any real great attempts to rip on the a$$holes that do that, just the one's that do with cars that are equal or worse than mine.

I used to have alot of fun with my old Mazda 626. I had a late 80's 626 with the 2.2 ltr turbo. Man, that car was fast for a small 4dr. It looked liked your moms car which made beating their asses so much fun!

Virginia is really bad for that since we have alot of old motorheads and there stangs and flatop v8s and there is always some punk kid in his primer mobile always wanting to rev at them so its just the stigma wse have to always want to race since we drive imports.

me too. I tell them: Hondas are realiable but if something should go wrong, dealerships won't work under warranty; they'll just blame your modifications. Your dome light could be flickering and they'd blame it on your rims.

ricers have given all 7thgens a horrible name. everyone thinks that we think that our cars can rape anyone, cause ricers run around revving their engine at anything that moves with a fart can exhaust, an intake system, huge wing, body kit, and a car thats slammed horribly low....the perfect solution is just to make your car fast!

i hate that...but never until i got my rims did anything want to race me...even though i had a civic. I guess they saw the fact it is a "sedan" and didnt bother...but ive beat several ricers in all makes in models, the best are those riced Mx3's, I LOVE THOSE! NOT...but yes...spend money on engine stuff, its one thing to "look fast" but i rather just be fast

I've had 3 00-01-02 stangs surround me and started reving the engines in my face at a traffic light, and all I got was white rims on my white civic, not even a fart can! So I just turned up my stereo system and quiet them hoes down...bwahahahah..shitty stock stang stereos!

Oh trust me I would if I was ever alowed to drive it, well I did get to take it to the gas station once, my dad got mad when it took me 30 minutes to get home, I kept "missing my turns" haha my dad didn't buy it he knew I was cruising, I had to take in the moment though.

True. . I like when a car that I know if faster than me revvs at me at a light . I take off all nice and slow and when they aren't expecting it I jump on it. But here is the key. . I wait until they don't have time to do anything about it, like when they are coming up on a car. lol. They get pissed. But I figure if you can't be fast you might as well take them by using some skills.

What?!? Not the MX-6, the MX3, those little *** Geo hatch looking things...arent they a V6 with 140hp? I dont know all the specs on it but i think thats right, and they're probably light but i dont think they'd "rape" a civic, maybe just beat it...i dont really care if they're fast though, cuz all i know is they're ugly as **** and even worse with overboost.com stickers and HID's

Some stangs come stock with the Mach460 stereo which actually beats pretty hard considering it's stock.

My friend's Cobra has it, and I think it's pretty damn good. Lots of bass.

It's 148 HP aluminum V6 engine. Trust me. The civic is a better overall car, but it would totally walk you.

However, the V6 engine is an extremely rare find. Very few were made. By the way, the V6 that Mazda made for it is the smallest V6 ever produced.
