OK so now I need your input.....
Well me and my friend were arguing about what a STOCK car is.
So now i am gonna ask you what you guys think.
For example, lets take a 7thgen. Is a 7thgen with the Honda Optional Bodykit on it and FP package, a stock car. Its all factory parts. Does that make it stock.
That was his argument. If it comes from the factory its stock. Even though its optional.
Well what do you think?

A stock car is exactly how it was when it rolled off the assembly line. You can add anything OEM parts that you want to that are specific to that model car and it will still be stock.
But even though a K20a2 engine is technically an OEM engine. If you drop it in an EM2, then the EM2 is no longer stock because even though it has an OEM part it was not intentionally made for that specific car model.

Yup, anything that was on or in the car when you leave the lot is considered stock. Once you modify something it is no longer stock. You might say my engine is stock, but I upgraded my sound system. Etc... You have to be specific in situtions like that.

i say stock car is the car with NO options... NOTHING added... anything AFTERMARKET makes it no longer stock, you would have the STOCK body kit, STOCK cd player, STOCK sunroof, get my drift??? even if it has a set of M3 (crappola) mirrors it isnt stock anymore... that is being technical, when i talk with my friends, stock is stock hieght, exhaust, power, sounds, rims, etc.....

Stock to me is no options added to the car. No OEM kit, no Sport Package, etc. Once you start to add things to your car it is not stock. Stock is what the designers at Honda drew up.
stock - Money or capital which an individual or a firm employs in business; fund; in the United States, the capital of a bank or other company, in the form of transferable shares, each of a certain amount; money funded in government securities, called also the public funds; in the plural, property consisting of shares in joint-stock companies, or in the obligations of a government for its funded debt; -- so in the United States, but in England the latter only are called stocks, and the former shares.
