MPG Vechicle Ratings

Here are REAL MPG ratings on best/worst cars. Go honda, civic gasoline model is right up there.

so I should be able to go 488 miles on the highway, how come I only get about 350?

the higher you go over the speed limit the more gass you wast. i belive in some states if they get you going over 100+ they can get you on something like wasting natural resorces also. idk about that last part thow something i read once

I want know how they gained 6 MPG over what the 2002 sticker says. They don't say what standards or conditions they used for this.
If I had to guess, they did this in a lab, with no wind and the car strapped to a dyno. No way you can get those numbers on average out in the real world.

That's quite high for the Civic's MPG. The most I ever got was 38.

Nice info! I notice that when I go on roadtrips I get at least 40 mpg. City driving i average about 30mpg : \

Which model Civic? I think the HX or DX gets much better mileage than the LX or EX. I remember that from when I bought my Civic.
