Lancer Evolution RS
The Lancer Evolution RS tips the scales nearly 68 kilograms (150 pounds) lighter than the Lancer Evolution. Its featherweight status notwithstanding, the RS has also been blessed with quicker reflexes: a front helical-type limited slip differential and a rear crossbar help to improve the handling.

^^getting rid of all that heavy paint...hehe
I dont think the wing was that heavy, being carbon fiber, seems like it would be more usefull on the performance model wouldnt it, same thing with the HIDs, but who knows. I think it looks better with it on.

Its still missing one thing it should have... the active differential system. Mitsubishi is still holding out on the 1 thing that truly makes the car the Evo.
I think that they should have kept the wing. I wonder how much cheaper the car will be. I think they should have kept the ABS though. Being able to stop is a part of performance isn't it?

It's okay for weight reduction, but taking out just the A/C and spoiler would have been enough. Noone will buy that car without even a radio in it.
I sure wish my car was newer

I can't believe anyone would buy that car as their only car. It'll probably only be sold to people as a dedicated auto-x car. I'll gladly take the extra 150lbs to keep all the extra stuff that they deleted. I mean... I don't think the leather on the e-brake handle really made much difference, and any new car over $15,000 should have power locks, windows, etc.

I've seen a yellow evo driving around here, but that's it. Not many people have them. I would consider the RS, but only if there's room to add a deck. You really don't need all that other stuff, although power windows are helpful.
