Not sure how I feel about the trunk... just like the 5- and 7-series.

I'd still sport the hell out of it.

Hmm, it looks okay. But that's IMO. Though I might get used to the look and start liking it more later on.

If you're someone who (like me) doesn't want a 4-door car, this is a nice middleground between a luxury sedan and a sports car. It has 325hp and 330 for torque. It takes under 6 seconds to get to 60mph.

I just can't understand why they're doing that nasty thing with the trunk. I like it more than I used to, but it's still not my favorite.

I agree with Zzyzx. The newer BMWs look like crap. The lines just aren't appealing to me. The interior looks sick though.

BMW's whole direction sucks. Too much high-tech stuff that makes the car harder to drive. Idrive, the automatic countersteering tech in the 5 series ....it's bad when you're having a computer decide what's best for you.

I hope their sales bomb and they learn their lesson.

Thats for the Id10t drivers that get BMWs and expect to be able to out drive any thing. The Real drivers turn that crap off (Luckily BMW has a little button that you can push that turns off the stability control system).

I'm not a big fan of any of the new BMW. They used to be awesome IMO, but now I'm swayed towards Audi. They're startin to give more bang for the buck, especially with quattro, and I love their interior and exterior styling. Our family has an Audi and friends have a BMW, and I prefer the interior fit and finish of the Audi any day.

Zzyzx: True, you can turn that off, but lately there's too much electronic junk that clutters cars lately. I don't think cars need much more than electronic windows and door locks. Seems like what defines luxury in the automotive industry is "How many electronic gimmicks you can dump in a car." Like VW Phaeton's electronic A/C vents. Please.

Automatic steering column adjust ...i mean it's not that hard to adjust it yourself. Specially how BMW cars refuse to let you change it for yourself because it wants to position the steering so it won't block the dash gauges. Dumb.

Electronic reclining seats. Although they're fancy, they take longer and are more of a hassle to use cus' you have to hold the button down for so long to get it at the right angle. The hand lever takes like 1/10th of the time.

I don't mind stability control, but a stability control that adjusts for you when there's a gust of wind? Ridiculous.

Well, the future holds much promise for a sh1tload of new electronic technology so get used to it or start buying used cars. BTW, that rear looks soooo ugly. It looks like the old CL rear with a little old Taurus to boot.

I'm with you on this one. I mean, I love Bimmers, but if it was my money being spent, I'd go for an Audi over a Bimmer in a heartbeat. Audi has outstyled them with the competition of the 7-8 and the 5-6 while not making it into a spaceship with that I-Drive nonsense. The S-series outperform the M-series cars in most aspects. And anyone who says a Z3 or Z4 looks better than a TT is just crazy.
