accord- 98 stick

a friend is going to a auction, and if he finds a good deal hell get one of the two. I know people here will most likely say civic, civic site....but tell me the reasons WHY i should

choose Civic if you want to be "slow to be seen" just the way I like my civic lol.
accord is a better car..I donno about 98 accord tho, I like 01 accord, but not 98

yea i don't like the 98! aren't the 98's only 4 doors? i believe the 97 came in 2 doors to ( like 94-97) and that's the only accord i would get if it was stick but i don't like the 98 ones!

But IMO i'd get the civic! that's just me though and those choices!

If you're going stock then accord. If you want to do body mods and stuff go with the civic. Having driven both the accord is more powerful and you can easily tell the difference.

I'd go with the accord. I'm sick of small cars.
The accord would preferably be low miles (6 yrs old), V6 and coupe. It's a good platform to mod and customize, especially with the V6.

If he is getting the accord with a stick it can only be a 4 banger, he can only get the v6 with an automatic. Thats how Honda equipped the car. There are turbo kits for 4 cylinder accords, just have to look. The Accord itself is just as good a platform to work with. O and yea, make sure it is and EX

my buddy has a 97 and it is pretty fast, but he doesnt have alot of mods to do to it, bc they arent as readily available as the civic

i think the exteoir looks just as good as the 2k1 civic. PLUS if i had a stick shift accord, i could take a v6 about even. THATS only cuz of the manual tranny...
but people here are saying the accord is faster.. So why wouldnt i want to mod it? I dont see many 98+ accord hooked up around here in Raleigh, NC.
