also i think its funny how they list all those parts which most of them should be on there if your selling a complete motor.
"you mean they didn't pull the motor and trans apart and take out the clutch!!"
^^^^
Good point Hawk, WF distributor?
Not on my bros Si/SiR or my friends Type-S
no distributor on my crappy D17.
Im 100% sure the J-SPEC doesnt have one either.
sounds like a scam, IMO they dont even know what there selling b/c they dont have it.

hey guys take it easy u are tearing him down for no reason....he was just post ing something he found...he wasnt like buy this **** guys its the best ever......he just stated a point that he found it.....it was compete...and it was a decent price.....
no thats what they have under every motor. hmotors has got to be a great source of motors all my friend buy from there and have no problems. they only put it to save time most likely a copy and paste sorta thing. sure it may not have a distributor but the whole point is they are not stupid. they do have the motor and seeing as how u called them dumb, ive talked to tham and know for a fact they know alot more then half of you do so beofre you knock on someonone/thing you should check them out. the price is for a good motor that will garenteed get to you and has a gartee to start up on ebay u dont get that.

Next year I'm planning to buy a K20 for my car and the ones from jdmhondaparts.com and dh-racing.com look like the best bets around. They're not cheap though. Anywhere between $5000 to $6500 depending on how much I want it worked on before putting it in.

$5000!!! I wish i had that much saved. I'd go ahead and get my body ish fixed, add rims, springs and get a new HU for that money, with about $500 left over.
what about the P/S res. and hoses? Subframe? etc...
For that price i would goto EBay.
But why even get the R motor? Bragging rights i guess? Everything that makes that a Type R motor over the Type S motor i would want to replace with aftermarket parts anyway. I would get the S motor, and just get the aftermarket parts. Besides, since everyone is into huge HP numbers, wouldnt you want a lower compression motor for that turbocharger? Sure DC5@EM2 has a R motor with a turbocharger boosting probably more than anyone has ever boosted a K motor, but that motor was completely rebuilt. You can run a stock Type S block and get into the 12's with slicks on a Stage 1 Turbo...who wants to go faster than that on a FWD car?
Thats just my thoughts on the R motor.

^^^^Don't for get the oil pan. The K20A has an aluminum one to cool the oil faster.
Oh and DC5@EM2 has a built K20A2 bottom. Thats what cybernation motor sports built and used his K20A head, tranny, and ECU to mount to it.
