Rep Power: 323 It's a good car but I still like the look of the concept ibuki (i believe) next gen Miata. Hmmm... a RWD Turboed convertible that you can buy from a dealership sounds good to me.

Don't you realize that power delivery on this car will be smoother than on a civic? I don't know the specs off hand, but it has a higher torque and hp rating than our cars at a lower RPM. It gets its power sooner, and not only that, this is the soon to be Mazdaspeed Miata....one of the best handling RWD cars to date. Get over your Honda BIAS and see a car for what it is. OR better yet, go down to your local autocross and see who is dominating. Civics don't do terrible there, but Miatas and other mazdas will definitely destroy the civic through the twisties.

Rep Power: 400 You also gotta set the redline based on the turbo's effective range. It'll drop off its peak effeciency if the revs get too high. Better for it to be effecient and stop it before it drops off, rather than just make the redline stratospheric.
