i say civic sucks anyway, i hate to say it but i don't think honda will ever make this thing more powerful. hell they could atleast drop a k20 in it like they have in taiwan, and then you would have more to work with. for the price of that car compared to a regular ex with a sf turbo set up and even if you put a body kit and other stuff it would still be cheaper and a hell of a lot better. i mean atleast then your car will truly be unique and a one of a kind because you pieced it together the way you want it not some crap outta the factory.
lol funny that I happened upon this forum and I was like HEY! thats my car
. I just got my new 04 ex 2 days ago and I thought the color was called magnesium. Most people I show it to really like the new color
I agree with you big daddy civics are slow as crap a k20 would really help things out. But anyway im new here soooooo HI

yeah so is the fp civic faster than the EX?

I depends on which kit makes air flow smoother or not, over the car. the fp civic is the "factory performance" civic. It just has 16 special rims, 1" lower, kit, wing, and a special shift **** and badges.
but you might as well get out the lotion cause your going to get *** raped for price.

22k for the fp civic hell they just had an Invoice sale at my local dealer and they were charging 24k for a 2004 accord v6 coupe with leather and that new 6 speed. no point in a civic at that price.

as nice as the whole FP car is its way overpriced. The suspension alone was 2k. The rims are about 3k(must be bought in a set so if one ever gets messed up you buy th whole set), and the kit is about 1k. I checked and was going to get the FP package a piece at a time till i saw the price tag.
Ugg yeah definately a RIP off Right there, yeah I was going to go get a accord coupe V6 with the 6 speed but I figure I better check with the insurance company HEHE. Yeah the key now a days is better watch what you buy till you get older since the insurance is what sucks.

i found out how much my dealership is selling the HFP Civic for- $18,500. Not too bad considering other places are asking $22K+. i might actually de-mod my 01 and trade it in for the 04 FP. just keep my I/E/H, ground controls, Konis, and stereo and swap it onto the 04. I really like the gunmetal color... thet also have a lighter shade of blue... like the electron blue on the Si's. that looks sweet!!

They do make all that you have listed above, last year the RSX was called an FP, this year they changed it to A-Spec, and they've added the new TSX A-Spec and the new TL A-Spec, I bet when they re-design the RL and NSX, they will follow suite...
Not sure about the MDX though, would be pimp, but I'm not seeing it happening...

Not when you count in the extra insurance for an RSX-S. Some insurance companies have the RSX-S in the same bracket as a Corvette, and we all know that isn't cheap.
PLUS... the people who would consider buying an FP Edition Civic probably aren't DIY-type modders, so you have to count the extra money they'd spend on having those parts installed. For them, it's cheaper.

Why are ***** sooo awesome?
I'm sure you've seen the G2 NSX concepts, if they build the machine like the concept, then no, I dont think it would need an FP option.., however, from the past 3 concepts, RSX, TSX, TL, the concept cars were WAY more bad *** than the production vehicle, so I'm betting that these G2 NSX concepts are way more bad *** than the production vehicle will be as well, and if that is the case, then there will prob. be room for improvement, just as there is with the current NSX, just depends on what your willing to sacrafice to gain connering ability or straight-line performance...
Just my $.02, nothing more, nothing less...
BTW, your Civic looks nice, very slammed...

Hmm... wanna try reading next time? I said "SOME." Now, "some" means less than 100% and I know for a fact that some insurance companies have the RSX-S in the same category as the Corvette. Congratulations if your company only charges $20 more, but nevertheless, you just proved absolutely nothing.
