new mazda 3, wow (PICS)...
just saw new pics and pricing on this car on edmunds, its so nice looking and the specs and price is great, check it out:
those are pics of the sedan "s" model, there is also an "i" model (cheapest mazda 3), and a 5 door hatchback "s" model.
the "s" models come with 2.3L, 160hp engines and a standard 5 speed manual. the "s" sedan will have vented front discs, and solid rear disc brakes with ABS, EBD and TCS as an optional package. comes with 16" alloys standard, and 17" as an option. here is another cool thing, you can get leather, and a navigation system to, pretty nice for an economy car. the "s" sedan starts at under $17,000.
for the price, its a really appealing car, as long as the build quality is there, its going to give our civics a run for the money.

too futuristic. the bumper tucks the lights in. i don't like the rear much but it's cool. i like the 6 alot more... but then again, i thought the 6 would look alot sexier in life then in pics, and it doesn't.
what's with mazda man?

won't this compete a little with the protege?
anyway, the interior looks awesome, though i'm sure the pictures up there are of the top-end model. good price....

to me, it kind of resembles a jetta in that second pic. the body lines, the door handles, the wheels. it does have a corolla look, but its not as bubbly.
i like the word protege, a friend of mine has one and he brought up a good point, when he said that pretty soon every car will be just named as a number, i mean the name civic is everlasting and i would hate to see other car companies dump all their names for numbers.

you know, i noticed that not a lot of companies make these compact cars in coupes, mainly just sedans, thats one reason why i got the ex coupe, i like 2 doors myself. that mazda 3 still does look nice however, for a sedan.
