Rep Power: 0 For the price, a neon is a pretty good value. Might suffer a depreciation hit pretty bad like most domestics but if you keep it and maintain it well, it might be a keeper. Only gripe about this car is that it has alot of uncertainty about it. The car it's self was built off the foundation of a car that had questionable reliability. Ive seen lots of problems with the high end neon both in car reviews and with my own eyes on the autocross course.
The evo and sti are both cars that are race bred and have proven dependability on extreme rally conditions however we cannot ignore the fact that its priced $10,000 more than the neon. I really do hope that the neon does do well this time to help fuel the race for manufacturers to focus on speed and not forget about reliability. For 20k, its a damm fast car but lets see how it holds up in the long run.
Im pretty excited with the current lineup of cars we've got flying around on our local highways. Evo 8, Sti, G35/350z, RX8, and mabye even the Cosworth Escort will make a nice mix at the local track and autocross. Will be nice to see the $20,000 neon give it all its got to keep up with the big boys and last. Time will tell how Dodges newest creation will hold up

Rep Power: 0 Dude, where do you have a pure Escort Cosworth at?? I thought they completely stopped making them, and the ones they did make I thought were only over-seas?

Rep Power: 328 Nothing wrong with Dodge quailty. My grandpa had a Dodge van that was older then me and still ran completely fine. It all depneds on the owner of the car and how they treat it.

come on dude
import came from other country to USA, means they are at disadvantage at first place becaue they are no an american brand and patirots would reject imports at first. But now even american think they are more reliable than domestics, what do you think? some fairy washed every american's mind??
why don't you just face the fact? just like facing the fact that domestics usually have bigger HP.
