Hello fuggers, Im going to purchase a honda civic within the next few days, and i need your help deciding, i like the 04's but they look like toyotas IMO, the 03's look alil more civic like, they still have some 03's at the dealership

Did you actually go to dealer to check out 04 civics? car looks really good. i would try to get 04 first . if deal doesnt go through take 03.

you will save money on the purchase price and interest charges on the 03...the insurance will be slightly lower on the 03 as well

you would also gain a whole year in the mileage

I like the tail lights of the 04. But the 03 comes with 99-00 Si rims, and the original 7thgen front. Go with 03 cuz of clearance, and insurance would probably be cheaper, fugger.

I personally prefer the look of the 03 over the 04. They have the same interior so it basically comes down to that (and the money of course).

yeah since 03 is almost over they prob have good deals on it but the only thing I like about the 04 are the tail lights because they are all red, I'd go with the 03 and trade or buy the 04 taillights, but thats me thats what I like and you save money

San Antonio here, just came back from the dealer....... no more 03's, well they had 2, but the were automatic, and thats a no go, Whats with this crazyness about the 04 tails???, just cause they have alil clear circle reverse light, and the 01-03 have alil square . Please i dont get all the hype, anyways for a 04' 5-speed figi blue EX with fog lights for 17,200 total cost.
Think thats a cool deal??, i thought it was powered everything w/sunroof as well....not to bad considering im going to give them 2000 down.

i love the taillites of the 04, saw one the other day, but omg is the rear end so high, it looks higher than stock 03 (yu can practically see everything underneath)

i like the front end of the 04, the tail lights are nothing to go crazy about!! but I would go with the 03, because you can get a better deal on it!!! in 6 months it will be worth more than an 04, because your getting it so late, so the miles will play the role in value!!

17,200 is not a good deal. I bought my 03 ex for 15,900 in January with either 0.9 or 1.9% interest (I can't remember which). Maybe you should shop around. Don't EVER pay sticker for a civic. BTW, you can get a SI for 16,900 all day, if you can take the way they look.
