Civic > Cav
this guy i know has a chevy cavalier(sp) i can honestly say its CRAP everything is plastic and when he turned hard around corners WAY TO MUCH BODY ROLL. i like domestics when it comes to perfromance but when it comes to making a good daily driver HONDA > domestics.
also i noticed our cars are alot more "sporty" then the cav it looked like a 40 year old woman should be driving it while our car has everything in the right place and i think its better for younger drivers. just my opinion.

yah my friend has a cavalier and he hates it! his parents bought it for him though so he cant complain. I dont know about the z24 though havent tried that out yet but the base model cavalier isnt to my liking. It was actually one of my choices when i was purchasing my first car but there were so many other cars i put ahead of it.

My g/f has a 97' cavalier base, owes almost twice its blue book value and yet loves the thing. It's junk IMO but it's 2.2 engine beats me off the line as it should. Everything else, Civic > Cavalier.
when my friends car got jacked 3 weeks ago, his been driving a rental cavalier ever since. he let me drive it one time and it will smoke a civ for sure, but the handeling sucks. the interior is cheap as hell; everythign is like plastic and that cheap plastic leather. and from what he tells me, the gas milege isnt that good either.

I hate the way those things look like its all jacked up in back.... you could fit a damn foot ball in the fenderwell its got so much wheel gap.... it reminds me of a dog taking a dump for some reason.....
mind u the base model cav is cheaper than our base model civic, hence the cheap materials. That is also probally why they have such low resale value. But it will be replaced by the Cobalt in 05, so be happy. The Cobalt will placed on the Epsilon platform.
