Just Used Ebay for the First Time, good deal!
I finally broke through my fear of being ripped off on Ebay. I was the only bidder and picked up a set of Naxos Xenon Blue H1 bulbs brand new for $6.50.
I had Naxos in my Saturn and loved them, I was going to pay $30 for them from a different site but this seemed like a good oportunity.
I have one question though. When I won the bid it gave me the option to pay then. I have a paypal account already so I went to pay and the amount due was only 1$, the starting bid. I bid $7 but nobody else came on to try to get them. So since no one else bid for the lights, I only pay the starting bid?

wouldn't this go in the off topic forum? or even the feedback forum?
EDIT: You would pay what you bid unless you did the gradual bid and 7 isn't enough money for that option I think....so you should be paying 7 if you bid that

whelan, if you place a bid on ebay, say you are willing to spend $7 on those buls, but ur the first bidder and the whole bidding starts at $1, then ebay will put down the least amount (between $1-$7) that it needs in order for you to be the highest bidder.
now, if somebody bid before you and they decide they are willing to spend $8 then he will be the highbidder until you go over those $8, but you can't normally see how much somebody is actually willing to pay, so often its just a matter of luck and LAST SECOND BIDDING>
