so im going 120 on the highway and i hear a clink clong....(didnt really sound anything like that) and the caatiiiccchhhh..thats the sound of plastic breaking...my side underbody kit neon gets smashed and flies off into the traffic behind me......probably caused some damage to the people behind me and the worst part is i dont have neons anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, BREEZE, you're the one being a d*ck here. NeonImpact wasn't the one going 120mph in traffic, which is insanely dangerous and disrespectful. And on top of that, your biggest worry is not having neons instead of the damage you may have caused to other motorists?

I usually do 80 on the highway, but I slow down when I get into traffic, and I'm always courteous to other drivers. Take notes.

I wouldn't have read being called an idiot 3 times as playing either. People yell al the time when someone says they were exceeding the speed limit. I can only say...if you have never gone faster than the speed limit..then you may flame and call someone an idiot. If you have gone faster than the speed limit..then stop being a hipocrite. Are you being serious? Please tell me there is no difference between going 56 in a 55 and going 120 in a 55. Of course I speed, but I do it in what I feel is a safe manner. When I speed, I am the only person I can hurt - I never do that when other cars are anywhere near where I am. I never go more than 3-5 over when I have someone else in the car. Almost no cop would even pull you over for that. So, telling me i am a hypocrite for telling him he is an idiot is just asinine. If you cannot understand the difference between what he did and what most people do, then this is a lost cause.

just because our cars are slow, is no reason to go slow all of the time. and as far as damage goes, a old person doing 45 on the highway is just as dangerous as a punk speeding at 120. speed is a rush. i recently had the opportunity to drive a car that hit near 70 in 2nd gear (z06). if you as a driver can handle that speed, then...i'm not saying someone who can't drive should be doing it, but, really, there would be no reason for a 120 top speed, or a 160 mph top speed, if you couldn't ever use it.

I feel what you're saying man. Yea it is stupid to hit those type of speeds in traffic, that's a given. Though whenever I am presented with an open highway in the middle of the night, I usually cease the moment to open my car up. 120 on an open highway is still fairly controllable and safe. 160+ is where you feel like you are hanging on for dear life.

All joking aside, people don't buy fast cars or mod up their cars to be fast just to always have to abide by speed limits. Dangerous? yes. Inconsiderate? somewhat. Understandable? definently.

If I offended anyone i appologize. everything said was just IMO

man this person sounds really naive. the worst that a person going 45mph can do is make you slow down behing them, while a person going 120 can lose control and swerve into other lanes killing a numerous amount of people. so actually there is a difference between going 45 and 120 .
