Car Paint Inside?

Im not sure if this is the proper place for this question, if there is a better one move it.

I was wondering if there would be any problem with using car paint to paint some part of te house. Like paint a bedroom or somthing. It dosent seem like it would be a problem, but I dont really know anything about paint....

I am thinking of making my bedroom more car themed somehow. I am trying to think of a way to use a headlight or 2 for some kind of lighting for the room too. If peopel have any ideas that seem cool I would like to hear them!

Oh, and Im sure soem of you will think this is stupid, so

nah, actually, that seems pretty cool.. have a car (prolly a civic..haha) theme'd room... you know what? if you just get the color mixing code and take it to home depot, they can prolly mix it for you, that is, if car paint isnt home safe. as for the headlights lighting, you'd prolly have to set up more than 2 headlights, in a bathroom like array..
[O O O O O O O O]
or just spread them out.. or do something so that the light patterns arent just beams of light like actual headlights, but more like an ambient light or something so they're more effective inside...
haha.. post pics when yer dun

you can not use actual automotive paint to paint your room, but you can take a piece of your car off that is painted (trim piece gas door ect)into home depot of something and get that color matched and mixed.

That would be a lot smarter considering it would cost much much less than car paint.....
