Warranty work question...

I know there are lots of threads about modifications and warranties, but I haven't seen anyone ask this.

Who has mods done, but has had NO problem when going in for warranty work? I read about people who have problems, but what about the opposite?

I have no porblems cause I work there. It all depends on the dealer, my dealership isnt to fond of mods like nitrous and we have been known to turn these customers away but a CAI stuff like that is no biggie. Find a dealer near you that doesnt mind will make your experience at the dealership alot better.

I have no problems with my Honda service center. The service advisor was pretty cool about it. He let me know that it was okay to mod up my car as long as it was not detremental to the car's health, such as nitrious, ect. They were actually jocking it and saying how cool it sounded. Although, he did not recommend that I get the AEM tru-power pulleys because he said that I'm just asking for problems once I start unbolting engine parts like that.

Mostly all of my mods are direct bolt-ons that are made from DC Sports. DC Sports is actually pretty good about their directions in installing those bolt-on parts because they give specific amount of torquage for tightening the parts. For example, when installing my DC Sports TCS exhaust system, it called that I use 25ftlbs to tighten the bolts. From my understanding, these requirements are direct from the Honda service manual. If I am wrong, someone please correct me on this.

All in all, my Honda service center is pretty cool about mods.

Shoutz out to them!
