It is not like the 2003-, some restyling in addition to the engine.

I know perfectly well how much an S2000 goes for. However, if you click the link that was given above (http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showth...hreadid=149914) and read what is written, you will see what the demographic is for the car.

Ages 24-54
HHI -$120,000
College Graduate
Male/Female 80%/20%
Married
The HHI is household income. But now that I think about it, the people they plan on buying this car will be married... so $120,000 is between two paychecks... and two people driving. Maybe it's not tat outrageous.

here you can pick up a NEW S2000 for less than $30,000!!
like 28,999 or cheaper. here in a month when they start bringing the newbes in, it'll drop another $1500-$2000.
i'll never by a car on the east coast!!

nvrmind i read ur post wrong i understand wat u mean..also it had no hp gains from the older model but it did have torque gains from 153@7500 rpms to the 2004 having 181@75000 rpms so maybe that .2 liters helped the torque? i dunno

I would suspect that's because in Colorado, with all the winter weather, they know people are buying them as second cars.

Yes. Bigger engine = more torque.

I am sure Honda made the car better.

I trust them with this car. Why would they ruin their jewel.

Yup. My brother used to live in Colorado, and when I'd visit him, I never saw many roadsters prowling the ice and gravel covered mountaints.
