2004 Suzuki Aerio has 155hp!?!
Well, yet another car in the Civics' class that humbles our poor D17s
I know, it looks like
, IMHO anyway, but look at those engine specs! And, don't say that it weighs more so it will be slower, the 2WD LX (high end model) only weighs 2731 with an AT, not much more than an EX AT. Someone out there test drive one of these things, or better yet, race one, and report back, LOL! It also has some nice standard and optional features you can't even get on a Civic, at least not in the U.S. If only it looked better, or they made a coupe version.
Specifications /Performance
Performance S LX LX AWD
2.3-liter, 4-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC engine
Horsepower: 155 hp @ 5,400 RPM
Torque: 152 lb.-ft. @ 3,000 RPM

Yeah of course they would lol.... I personally would like the friggin civic type-r to be released in america without any mods being made to make it more "street friendly". Japan must really enjoy screwing America outta all the nice cars lol

Don't know what year but sure as hell was slow for a 145HP or 155HP car (or may i say minivan)

the 99-00 si coupe sold very well.
it was even selling more than MSRP in 2001... a year after its release.
then they went with the hatchback...
and its downhill there...

civics will never have that much power because they r not aimed for us, 80% of sales goto people who want a fuel efficient etremly reliable car, and the more power u have, the less of that u have, so they will always keep the power down, also they need it that way to market there other ****.
i think what they should do is introduce an SI that has as much power as the SIR (or in the states, an LX that has power as the SI) so you can have a choice between hatchback and coupe SIR.

I would rather have the rsx because I like the body style over the civic, but I would rather have the 99-00 civic si over the old integras, and over an rsx.
