Can you imagine the look of people's faces if that car was in US streets..haha. The cop wouldn't even know where to start to give you a ticket. Pure track car, correct? It's like a souped up super go cart...haha.
Isn't that what most ol skool civics do? Pop in an engine, bolt on and tune their b18 to get about 200 hp. Then remove every single possible piece of weight in the car.
One question, my friend is some hardcore street racer with a hatch and claims unbelievable numbers from that car. He says he has a 0-60 in 2 something seconds. I was like B.S. But when he said that's what the track ppl timed, and wanted to bet me a $100. Made me think twice about the potential of a Civic. He said his car is 1,000 and something pounds. I'm thinking McLarens, Ferrari Enzo, and what not can't even get a 0-60 in 2 seconds. Thing is, he says his quarter mile isn't as fast b/c the car lags at higher speeds. Is there a possible reason why his car rips up the road to 60 mph, but somewhere in the tuning it lags after that??? I still think this is BS.

I'm pretty sure he meant to say his 60' time and not his 0-60 time. He probably just read the timeslip wrong. As for that car! I want one. Although after getting it I would have maybe 2 posts on this board. One saying I got it, one saying I'm going out driving it, and then I would be dead so you would never hear from me again.

I believe the 0-60 time, its all about gearing, we run an SAE formula car here with 70hp, 600cc, 400 lbs., it hits 60 mph in 3 seconds flat, of course it tops out in sixth gear at 75....
