Hey, look at the tach in that interior pic that civicvtec posted. doesn't that look like an automatic version of a tach minus the boxes for drive, park, neutral, etc on the right hand side?

I don't like the new blue. It looks like an arctic blue pearl knock off.

W00T! That means EBPs can further stand out.

I like the rear bumper. If it fits the 01-03s, I might consider it... considering mines needs repairs.

Right, that car in the pic is a 5 spd, so the tach is exactly the same as the auto's minus the PRNDL boxes.

Usually the numbers spread across the whole circle, automatic's have them crammed closer together to make room for the boxes.

2004 Civic

It is a very nice looking car, they made it much more athletic looking compared to the last 3 years. The front gives a much sportier look, and the rear has some similar lines as the new accord, but i am still not a fan of the the sides behind the door and over the rear wheels. Its much too plain, they need to put some lines in the body there, it just looks boring and plain. But in general it looks hot. IF THEY WOULD ONLY MAKE IT FASTER! THEY GOTTA MAKE A TURBO CHARGED CIVIC. They are relying too much on people to decide how the cars look and perform, instead of doing it themselves. I love my 2001 civic, but its still much too slow.

HAHAHAHAHA, sorry to burt your bubble pal, but uhh 127 hp isn't a lot at all. I don't know how much you know about cars, but uhh thats not a lot. Maybe if you actually read my post, you would see i said "faster" i know its 127 hp. So unless you like high 8's 0-60 times, you can stay with that. but my friends Viper is much faster.

Me likes, me likes. Not sure about the new taillights though. Or the new headlights, but I'm sure it will grow on me. Like those FP Rims and Lip kit though.

good grille on the coupe. the back lights needed changing but they did an ugly job on that. 7th Gen coup tail light shapes are jus bad to begin with. the headlights are ugly too. they didn't need changing.

front bumpper looks cheap so it looks like a corolla now. toyota sux at this moment. slap on cheap body kits to make it look sporty, add automatic tranny and thas toyota.

anyway, cheap honda styling i think. trying not to be too controversial. as long as pepole don't keep it stock it'll look good.

Hondas are cheap cars... and on the price chart... the Civic is among the cheapest Hondas, if not the cheapest.

i think it lost its "asking for mods" ability. it just looks like one of those cars that you keep stock.... (from the front end). it screams I'm ford taurus's lil sis

The pics are great.. I'm glad Honda started focusing on young buyers again. I guess I like the facelift but I'm still deciding. The whole front end looks like Honda stole it from another car. It seems very Corolla/Lancer-ish, but whatever. It's destined to grow on everyone.

Ugly imo. I like the car but it's not reason enough to upgrade. It doesn't look at me and just say "You want me" as much as my current 2001 did. What's going to suck is if Honda doesn't do the 4-year generation change like they usually do and do this version for 3 years and then modify it slightly every year like they have already been doing with the 7th gens.

2001 - new 7th gen civic
2002 - slight interior changes
2003 - exterior and interior changes
2004 - " "
2005 - ?

How much will the cost of a fully dressed up Coupe be? For some reason I think people may as well just buy an Si instead being the price will be just about the same... And that same theory somewhat applies to people who are asking for a faster Civic... Well there is one... Called the Civic Si. Now I'm aware of the haters, how it looks like an egg, how it's not as fast as it should be, etc. But with a few bolt ons, and a decent body kit (Type-R anyone?) the EP3 is one hot *** ride... I'll let you guys decide.

Now that I look at it more from the front...it DEFINTELY looks like a mixture between a taurus and corolla. I'm liable to steal somebodys 04 civic armrest and taillights. Mannn I love those taillights...they sort of outlined them...brings them out more. AH...I want...but I don't want the whole car.

They look the same size.

If the tailights fit, then the rear bumper has to fit.

I want that rear bumper. It lines up with the body perfectly unlike the 01-03 bumper which is kinda high and I don't want to add a lip.

This one's perfect.
