I just finally saw this last night. I am really loving the new headlamps and the new front bumper...Did you read the bottom of the article that said Annual oil changes....Is that possible....to not have to change your oil for a year?
Forgive me for the comparison, but the 04 civic looks like an 01 mercury sable. Maybe it was just the picture, though. A pic taken from a non-professional photographer may look way different.
yeah it does look more like the hybrid car. lol. naw, but it does suck they started changing something so major already! (I just bout mine this year!) =/ Well I guess it will be good to see some different colors out there

I don't know if I like the headlights or not. The front bumper is nice (for stock). That would get replaced pretty fast by an aftermarket kit anyway, so who cares? LOL The headlights look good, but I'de like them better on a different color. Gunmetal headlights would have been very nice on that gray color. The rear looks different too. Not the trunk, but the bumper. I bet it's a little different.
man. I like the bumper so much...
has anyone noticed the headlamps? I don't want to be accused of a retard just yelling out "photochop" but if you look closely, you can still see the outline of the original 7th gen headlights. Look underneath the driverside headlamp, and the passenger side headlamp looks exactly like the normal sized 7th gen headlamp.
I dunno. Maybe it's just me wishing I had one. Those rims are too perfect for the car.

The newer civics (2001-2003) were also totally different than the previous gen. I liked the 99-2000 models a lot better, but they were only a couple thousand dollars less than a brand new car. So I went for new.
okay this is not a new civic, they just put a sports package on it basically. If you want im sure you can do a conversion to update the look of your car to the new OEM look. 2004 is still a 7thgen
imho i seriously dont like it. the front end just doesnt look right. like someone said it looks like something its not. but most likely it will grow on me. but i still love my vic. i wonder whos gonna be the first one to do the k20 swap?
That front's pretty ugly. It doesn't match the lines of the rest of the car. Its all rounded and slanty, looks weird. Looks like a GS300.
I think that front end is retouched by Newsweek too. Honda usually doesnt change the front end of a car unless its a new generation.

Its not retouched....That is the new design for 2004. I am surprised that Honda did a drastic change like that, but maybe they realized how bland and boring the 7thgen headlights and grill were and decided it needed a change....Believe me they will sell more civic's now with the change that they made....
Well just remember alot of you didnt like the look of 01-02 7thgens at first, well from what i read anyways, and most of you that didnt like them, ended up liking the body style, i know for my self i didnt really care for it, but once i bought it, i liked it more and more and more, i think thats how this car is going to be, its gonna grow on us, like someone above stated, i really like the color, and the body style of the front is nice, and the people sayin how could honda make such a BIG change, people they didnt change that much from what we can see, lights, fenders, and a bumber, thats not alot imo, im on the look out in my town to see if i can get some shots of it

The new accords look like the TSX? My friend, the TSX is the accord. In Japan, the Accord is the TSX. Honda brought it over here and badged it as a TSX because it cannot compete with the Camry as a family sedan (less rear headroom and legroom).
The US Accord is the Honda Inspire in Japan. Looks really nice too.
The 2k1 civic never "grew" on me. I liked it from the way beginning. Its not that I am not used to the 2004 civic's look. I think it looks flat out unattractive and weird. Looks less aggresive, more Toyota.
