And all this for, how much?
I somehow think it's going to match the price of a brand new Impreza WRX.. and would get owned by it left right & centre. Even a stock RSX-S would take it.
Laaaaaaaaame...

You have to admit Ford is trying desperatly hard to take the Sport Compact market with the Focus. From what I have seen they are doing a decent job, the Focus SVT does seem more attractive than the Si(SiR) interms of Power, torque. But it all boils down to reliability which Honda has and Ford does not. Aftermarket support is growing for the Focus as well.
most of the focus recalls aren't for engine/mechanical things. a guy at the honda dealership i go to has an svt focus and has had 13 recalls. yes some were for engine stuff, but 3/13 is not nearly as bad as 13/13 like some people make it out to be. the others are things like faulty cigarette lighter, rear seatbelt buckle not releasing, rear glass doesn't seal. things like that.

You guys are some real haters. I personally dont like the car that much, but give it credit. It has amazing handling compared to our cars. packs power. styling could use some help though. its overall a pretty cool car. that just my honest opinion

Dead?
Umm yeah it's got speed for a throw away car, and some handling, but it's a Focus and it's a Ford. . Junk . What if we threw that kind of work into our cars? They would look a lot better, handle just as nice, and be more reliable.

Whats wrong with the wheels?
Show me your 15lb 17" wheels.
Honestly, if the thing ran, I'd consider buying one... it looks better than the mini-mini-van. I just wish we got the Cosworth.

Dont get me wrong, APC makes plenty of crap for Honda, but damn, have you seen how much rediculous **** they make for the focus. Every track event I go to there is always an assload of useless crome painted plastic focus accessories & neons with a focus parked in te middle of it with all the usless plastic accessories installed on it simultaneousely, those cars & the useless **** that follows them makes me want to gag & vomit...

Just think about it about 5 years back you would have never seen a cavalier in a Sport Compact tuning magazine, all you saw were Hondas and Toyotas, DSM were not prevailent either, Nissan or Mazda barely had a showing. Now you look into a tuner mag, you see all makes and models. Unless you read model specific such as Honda Tuning.

Like most of the hondas you see have mugen or spoon sports, actual useful stuff on them, but when they have a focus, it has tons of plastic APC **** (i.e. washer LEDs, crome plated wipers, alteezas etc...) all over it.
They want into the import market, but theyre using the cheapest *** crap they can find without any real performance gain.
