Handling of the car is one thing, being able to control it is another.

A well handling car just lets inexperianced drivers get in way over their heads quicker. (read Over confidence). They have less of an Idea as to how far they can push the car, and even less of an Idea as to what to do once they pass that point. Hence, Lambo meets wall.....

Lambos are a bit bulky. They're actually pretty damn big cars. Put a Diablo next to a Ferrari and you can make the Ferrari look like a Mini. They'll handle ok, but you really gotta know how to drive them (not that a Ferrari is easy either, it wasn't until a few years ago that they got power steering)... and Lamborghini ergonomics suck. When the Diablo was designed, someone ****ed up, and the seat, steering wheel and the pedals did not all fall on the same centerline. The new one apparently addressed the issue. It seems its more of a high speed cruiser than a true to the word "track car" like a Ferrari, which you can pretty much race straight off the dealer lot. Its not too hard to wreck them... I know a guy who lost one at about 80 MPH and rolled it. Totaled it... I don't think it bothered him too much. It was 'only' an SV (That was the base model). He also had a Diablo VT 6.0 Roadster, a Viper GTS, a 30th Anniv. Trans Am, a Trans Am GTA and a 69 Firebird. Something tells me he got by.

^ that kind of thing amazes me....only things i can think of is that it was raining and he was driving like a maniac or something ran infront of him, or we went off the road slamed on the breaks and lost control...wonder what happened
