I think everyone is going for the type-s. I really didnt like the base too much, except for the color of them. I think it was the blue I liked more than the type-s blue. But that was about it. Screw it up? How? You dont know how to drive a manual?

i paid $22k for mine, base auto w/leather, full OEM kit. Got it about a year ago now

Dont listen to the Type S crap, if you want one go for it, its a very nice daily driver. You could easily find a used 2k2 base for 16-17k.

For prices check

www.carsdirect.com or www.intellichoice.com

Print it out and go from there. I've had 2 friends buy their cars at carsdirect.com's price (actually a few hundred below)

RSX base sells for $18,815 + $819 (auto option) here in the LA. Of course you can deal... keep calling places.

thanks for the info. ive driven those arcade games that simulate manual driving, but i really just dont wanna risk like stalling a lot and mis-shifting and stuff. my parents want me to get an auto to start out since i just turned 16. manual is my choice later in life

baaa. I started with auto and i'm so sick of it. I drive my friend's 03 tiburon 6spd and 7thgencivic 5spd once a while and i just keep counting the days until I get my RSX-S.

however, i am afraid that i will misshift (like i have done with both cars mentioned above)

But whatevers, the fun factor is 100x greater than auto.

I wasnt bashing. I didnt mean to. I cant even afford a base RSX. If thats what you want, then go get it. Just do your research and dont get screwed.
