Spoon built a race engine for a CTR (an EG I think) that went to 14000. The S2K goes to 9, if you count the F1 engine, 18000

dang, to me the high revs are love/hate...love that it can go that high, but scared to take something up to anything above 9K haha, till i get used to it i guess i'll have to cope with it

18000 aint nothin........ Back in the day honda made a 2 stroke 50 cc motorcycle enging that redlined at 24,000 rpms.

s2000s have redline of 9,000...but the new generation of s2k's are said to have a lower redline of somewhere between 8,000-8,500
