i think the idea behind it is that since everyone always looks at the most expensive cars on ebay his auction would get a lot of views and the people who looked at this outrageous skyline would visit his site and realize that they CAN afford one...in theory.

What the hell? Doesn't he know that you have to pay a percentage of the opening fee to list an auction? Even if it is 1% (and it's more I think), he would have to pay $323,232.32 to list that auction.

It might be different for auto auctions, but I know for regular auctions you have to pay ebay a percentage of the opening price and the closing price.

auto's its $40 insertion fee(without pics and other extras) then $40 if it sells
