You want to peel out? Rev to 5k and pop the clutch. As for the best way to shift:
1) push clutch down
2) shift
3) push gas
4) let go of clutch
But, for real, the trick is practice. After you drive for a while, it'll be easy.

if your revvin' up and letting out the clutch at the same time, i'd like to know how long your clutch has or is lasting..
hit 2nd gear fast and you'll peel out..
but the question?? : Why Try something that is not worth doing?

hahaha ya i learned stick on a old school ford flatbed delivery truck. Well I drove it and stuff but I stalled it sometimes when I tried to start it. hahaha. I peeled out once, hit gas, then let go off clutch to go ahaha. I didnt drive for a month and then i fugged up at starting it and stuff. maybe my bro in law will teach me on his explorer. also wouldnt shifting, then adding gas, then letting clutch out umm increase ur revs and kinda make u chirp ur tires? I thought it was clutch in, shift, clutch out a lil, gas, then let off clutch slowly. hmm im thinking u prob said the other to chirp tires or something, I dont know, I drive an auto.
Double clutch into 2nd dude..that's how you'll peel out. But your clutch and your motor mounts aint gonna last. Definetly not worth doing. Yea it's fun and you let every1 know that you are driving stick but..not everybody is gonna pay for your clutch and your motor mounts

If you were joking, I apologise, if not, go inform yourself. If you really wanna spin your tires, you're going to have to get em wet, or just play around when it's raining. Simply dump the clutch at like 4-5k in 1st, rev till redline, quickshift into 2nd and keep on the gas, if it's wet out you could get into 3rd, but by that time your car will be toque steering like mad, and you probably will crash.

.....and then it reappeared.
to catch 2nd, run first up to the redline, shift quickly, dump clutch and floor it.
To have fun, be going about 20mph on a semi-damp wide open space (for beginners), pull ebrake, cut wheel, high revs and dump clutch in 2nd. You'll be doing 180's in no time.
To have more fun. (not to be done in ABS equipped models)
put car in reverse, floor it and get some speed, ,slam brakes as hard as you can and cut wheel and boom, reverse 180
To keep going, shift from reverse to 2nd, high revs and dump clutch.
Do any of these and you will be replacing your clutch and mounts much sooner than expected. Do any and all of these tricks/stunts at your own risk. clownprince is neither liable nor blameable to any injuries/deaths and/or car accidents that might happen while driving in this fasion. If you just redline first and hit second fast enough so the RPMs don't have a chance to go down much .. You should at least chirp 2nd. . I haven't been able to peal out in second, but I've not been willing to beat my car to such an extreme yet..
step one pull up e-brake
step two start motor
step three push in clutch
step fourth put in first
step five rev up 2 6g's
step six let off clutch
step seven let down park brake when done smokin
step dont forget **** dont go to 2nd with the e-brake on its a honda
it may stop

Peeling 2nd and still wanting to go fast is not in the same category. If you want to chirp, thats too easy on our Civics. I'm able to chirp at 3000RPMs sometimes, but anything after 4K is easy. At redline, I dont even want to chirp and it still does it.

Save the tires and fire em up in first only. Unless you wanna spend money on replacing your clutch, tires and mounts a lot. Why not spend that money on something worth it like buying me a K20?!?!?

if you're smart, you can tell is someone drives stick when their tails aren't lit and they're at full stop
..... no need to rock back and forth like a little ricer.
..... no need to rock back and forth like a little ricer. why do ppl even rock back and forth? it's kinda annoying!!!
wouldn't skilled drivers not even roll backwards at all? and shifts seem like it's an automatic car?
dunno. just bugs me when ppl roll back and forth... especially when i'm behind them...
