Getting an RSX-S *I got it!* Well, I decided to post this [even though I don't have it yet] becaue I'm pretty stoked!
I went to the dealership yesterday to work on some numbers. They don't have any in stock right now, so I couldn't negotiate on the price. I also couldn't negotiate because there are a lot of people in line to buy one [Type-S]. . . so the demand is high and people are willing to buy it at the sticker price. I gave a deposit to have one in Desert Silver reserved for me. So once it comes in, I go back to the dealer, do the paper work, and drive it home.
The next shipment comes in on two dates: Aug 18 and Sept 10 [My birthday!]. But they don't know which shipment my car will be on.
Can't wait!

Rep Power: 0 congrats man, im trying to do the same thing but unfortunately i dont think it can happen for a while do to college and the 2003 vic payments i cant get out from under. tell me how you like it when u get it, i want to test drive one soon to see, once again, congrats!!!

Rep Power: 0 Thanks man! I'll definetly post again when I get it. Oh, and I'll take pics too of course. Good luck to you when you decide to go for one. The 04's come in September. I honestly thought I had to settle for the base RSX because I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle the payments for the Type-S. I REALLY didn't want to settle for anything less than the Type-S.

Sweet! Got any pics? I wanna see! To be honest, I already liked the base. But when I drove the Type-S, I didn't even want to look at the base. Hehe.

so far i got revo ss (be here this week)
viper 790 vx with remote start (need to install)
pioneer 7500 hu(need to install)
aem v2 (on its way)
tint (this week sometime)
not sure what im going to do later on though....turbo? too many problems right now

Rep Power: 0 Sweet! And you've only had the car for not even 2 weeks! I think the only mods I'll be doing to it, after I get it, is tint, Injen SRI or CAI, JDM headlights and OEM kit. After that, I'll be paying off my bills and try to get rid of some of them.

Rep Power: 0 So that means you'll be getting the 04 models. Cool! Do you know if there will be any changes to the 04 RSX? I've heard the changes will be minor. I didn't bother looking if there are any pics of it. My dealer said the 04's are coming in September.
My bro is getting one in that Premium White Pearl you mentioned. We're getting our cars pretty much at the same time.

i really like the JDM headlights, but im not trying to spend over $400 on them.

thats what im playing to do with mine. i dont really want to mess up with my stock headlights becuasee i had hard to findinig oem stockheadlights when i needed them(for trading)

Suspension - ALL OUT! No rims though.... want to keep the stock ones.

Rep Power: 0 That's bad a$$. I had a chance of getting the ABP, but someone already reserved one before me. Plus, someone around my area already has one. Oh, and DSM was my first choice

Rep Power: 0 I drove a 2002 RSX-S. It was nice. I couldnt afford it though. I got a friend that has a 2002 RSX-S. He loves it. He's got I/H/E, aem fuel rail, Buddy Club kit, painted headlights, and some other stuff. Quickest he ran was a 14.2-14.3 1/4 mile. Pics when you get it.
