Well, the dealer called me up yesterday and said he has no new info on whether my car is in the first shipment [Aug 18] or the next [Sept 10]. But he'll let me know once he finds out. He was just keeping me updated. There will be cars coming in the week of Aug 18. . . I just hope one of those are mine.
They aren't too sure about what colors are on which shipment.
Oh, and my bro reserved one in Premium White Pearl. I'll post pics of his car as well, when he gets it. I hope I get mine before he gets his. Haha.

Well, if it wasn't on yesterdays shipment, then yah, Sept 10.
But I called the guy yesterday and he said they won't know the VIN numbers and colors of the cars until today or tomorrow. So I guess I'll find out either today or tomorrow whether or not my car was on yesterdays shipment [the guys going to call me]. He said to keep Thursday and Friday open just in case. They won't get the cars on the lot until tomorrow or Thursday.
*crosses fingers*
It'd be pretty cool if it arrived on Sept 10, cause that's my birthday. Haha.

Okay, update time!
I called the dealer yesterday, but no answer. I left a message to call me back. He called me back today during my lunch break saying that my car wasn't on the shipment and that it'll be here Sept 10th! 25 cars were in the shipment, but none of them were Desert Silver.
At first, I was like "NOOOO!!! I can't wait any longer!!". Sooo, I'm going for the Arctic Blue. I'll be picking it up tomorrow after work.
I'll keep you guys updated. And of course I'll take pics and post it.

Well, I got it!!! An ABP RSX Type-S and I love it!
I'll post pics and details soon. I'll post a new thread and put the link to that thread in here.
Not sure where to post it though. In the RSX forum? Or Member's Ride forum? Or General Auto Rambling's forum?

That's beautiful!
Take it hella easy the first 1000 miles. You don't wanna cause premature wear (by flooring it too much or fully warming it up)

Yah, I'm pretty much baby'ing the car right now until I reach 1000 miles.
When you say 'fully warming it up', you mean when I first start the car, I shouldn't wait until it's fully warmed up?

Fully warming up (to normal operating temp) is bad for your car. Puts unnecessary engine wear which can cause premature wear (meaning your engine won't last long).
Warm it up for 1 minute and then drive slowly. Shifting below 3.5k rpm everytime until it's normal.

Welcome to the next level
I switched from a 01 automatic civic lx coupe to an 02 rsx type s. Its a whole new animal
Keep it under 3500-4k on the tach for the first 1000 miles like everyone says. Its not the block that needs the break in, its everything else. I believe the type s motors are very well broken in before its even mated with the car.
Enjoy your new ride
Just watch out for backing up.. it's got a big azz meaning more blind spot area to get used to.
