Well its sad that "just a neon" can whoop our ***.
And dont give me that this is an economy car ****, cuz there is not a site dedicated for this car so we can all talk about our stock civics. Most of us want it faster than it is. And it sucks knowing that they made a stock neon that can take on a modded civic.

Why does it suck? Because Chrysler gets what people want now why Honda doesn't? In case you've forgotten, you are driving a 127hp econobox, not a race car, regardless of there being websites all over the place about them. Websites don't make a car be something it wasn't supposed to be. The fact is that if you want your civic faster than "just a neon," you'll have to spend 4k on a turbo, because even a swap won't get you past that car. The Neon's are rated at 215hp, but that's what they're putting down to the wheels, not at the crank, Chrysler understated the cars hp because even they didn't want a neon being their second most powerful car behind the viper.


Your civic isn't supposed to be fast. And Honda's only answer to these types of cars, the neon, svt focus, etc, is the 160hp Si, which as much as I love mine, was a weak entry into this field by Honda.
