Blown motors

Has anyone actually blown their engine?

I am not talking about damaging rings, or hydrolocking the engine. I am talking about cracking pistons and ring lands, or bending rods, or breaking wristpins. Anything major.

If so, please tell me:

What Mods you had and what you did when it broke.

Thanks a lot, i am just doing a little research.

hawk had his engine hydrolocked.. but that also resulted in bent rods...

notorious pinoy also got hydrolocked. Dont know of anyone here that has blown their engine yet.

I blew my engine 3 times already! It's sucks and was a huge bite in my wallet. I could have paid my car off with that money!!!

I didnt blow up my engine. I am just wondering, because i just havent heard of anything breaking besides the head gasket and rings.

The worse i have seen is the guy who ran a 75 or 100 shot of nitrous and blew his intake manifold into pieces!! At least on a 7thgen. Now the guy with that RSX that downshifted! That was horrendous!
