The EVO 7 and EVO 8 are almost identical. It's just that the "US" version of the EVO 7 is called the EVO 8. The only other real difference is the EVO 8 has slightly better traction system.
And why would you be looking at an RX8 vs an EVO8? the EVO8 and RX8 are in completely different classes.
It's like saying I'm looking at either a yugo or a cobra.

lol. hondaluver read my post. the EVO 8 has a slightly better slip diff and traction control system. that's more than a little bit in the engine.
and what do you mean they never brought the evo's to the states? what do you call the evo 8?

I read somewhere a long time ago that they only made 10,000 of each version. Then they have to make enough upgrades to consider it a "new" version. It's a self-imposed rule thing. I know they had an EVO 6 and an EVO 6.5, because they came out in the same year. I'm not sure if they still follow that rule though.

Does ANYONE bother to read my damn post about how the EVO 8 IS DIFFERENT THAN THE EVO 7? WTF?
They didn't just rename it because it was the usdm version.
