The only thing I can appreciate about the EP3 is it's engine. It responds to modifications. Hondata is one of the best cost effective mods. The stock muffler flows just as good as any other aftermarket muffler w/custom piping. I dunno what else to say.

Stock heigh is hideous. But the car doesn't have many lines on it and the big, solid body seems to swallow the rims if lowered on anything smaller than an 18 inch wheel.

jesus who cares.
same civics.
and about si body. its all personall preferences. i like new si bodystyle. overall i would take si over ex(i had 02 ex). better seats. better engine. better interior imo. shifter is comfortable. standard sidemarkers. standard cleared headlights.4 wheel disk brakes. better tires. why not?
i got good deal on new si so i traded in RIGHT AWAY.

What documents?

It's like saying..... the sky is blue. "well i won't believe you until I see documents saying so". Look out your window pal.

Guess what, don't believe all you want, they are based on the same platform and are both/all based on the same chassis.

Did you seriously think honda was going to design a complete brand new, from scratch chassis for the EP hatch? Interesting.....

You're talking a lot of s to be so new on here. Anyways, yes, the Civic, Si, RSX and CRV are all on the same platform, hence the same chasis.

SHOW you proof on a couple of chassis' through HONDA documents?

No - sorry... that's seriously too stupid of a demand if you're truly serious. It's surprising how you just can't use your own eyes to see both cars side by side as the same car.

Very much the same/identical engine bay size.

Virtually takes the same suspension with different characteristics from struts, to springs and brakes.

as far as speed goes the new Si's arent as fast i thought they would be. i saw 3 at the local track all with intake and exhaust run 16's. one ran a 15.9@85.6 mph. at the time all i had was I/H/E and i ran a 15.67@89 mph. i even beat one on the street by like 5 cars. but he was stock and i didnt have my wheels on. i do like some things about them though like the gauges and seats and the blue color they come in. the body however is personal preferance and i cant say that i like it alot but i do think there are alot uglier cars on the road. (cough) Kia rio, lancer, saturns (cough)

Dont blame the car for a few crappy drivers. The new Si can run well into 15's, and the engine responds like mad hell to mods.

i was actually thinking about trading in my civic for an 03 hatch Si. the look of them kinda grows on you. but i want to find someone that knows how to drive one around here, so i can race them and see what it can do.
