Best Handling Car?
The AE86 is so popular because of it's good handling ability, and because it's so damn cheap. They use it to drift because back in the day, they didn't really care about damaging the car since it wasn't that expensive and that nice of a car.

Mini Cooper Type S handles like it's on rails, mainly because of the wheels being on the corners and very minimal body roll.
My dads 99 GSR doesn't exactly handle all that badly either.

I would put my money on the Miata or maybe even the RX-8 out of new rear-wheel drive cars that are under $30k and NEW.

Umm..... the M3 is BMW's race car.
hers's the E30 M3 (Original) this car was built as a race car first and then modified to be street legal (Its also the only M3 done this way)
and heres the new M3
The #7 BMW M3 of Hans Stuck and Boris Said ended the year-long winning streak of the Porsche 911 GT3-R in 1999.
Oh ya, Skid pad G's mean relitivly little when it comes to race cars. Transitional cornering is more importatn (Speed in Slalom)
To keep this on subject you can pick up an (1987-1991) E30 M3 for under $10,000 and an (1993-1999) E36 M3 for under $30,000.

zzyzx. i love the old school 3's man. they're killer sharp and the body style isn't so "high in luxury" like they are now. there's a guy in my area who has red one with a factory wide body kit (it's an 80's), mint condition. i would love to take one out for a spin.
