OK alot of people on this site argue about intakes exaust
pulleys and what have you . About how much horespower the give
and which ones the best and so on .
So my question is simple has anyone actually gone and dynoed there
car with a few bolt on ie: intake, exaust, pulleys, header to actually see what the gain on our cars is

Turbo/Surper is an easy way to go. Doing a JDM engine swap is a complex thing to do unless you pay the bucks to have someone else to do it. So if you are like me and don't liek other people working on your cars you do it yourself and run into to so many little problems it just gets ugly. Things like with the JDM ECU the cable is different because the ECU is on the other side of the car since its righ thand drive.
Forced induction is cheaper then a swap and eays to install :-)

115.8 HP at the wheels back in February.
At the time, just an Injen CAI and DC TCS exhaust. (I now have a DC SS header, too)
I don't know about you guys. . . but stock numbers (given drivetrain loss of around 18%) should put just over 104 HP at the wheels. To get almost 116 from just a CAI and exhaust (net WHP gain of 12) is not too shabby. Don't know what the header is doing, yet. . . just installed that about two weeks ago. Next time we have a local dyno day I'm going to test again out of curiosity. I'll post more number, then.
<edit> FYI. . . my dyno numbers (and I'm just guessing here) would suggest that I was just over 141 HP at the crank, factoring back out the drivetrain loss. This would mean a net HP gain at the crank of about 14.28 . . .
