Engine Performance
I have a 2008 Civic EX with the standard 1.8L 4Cy engine. I am looking to get more horsepower from this engine. What is the easiest way of doing it? Engine swap? Can a turbo be added without blowing up the engine?

This is probably the worst engine you can use to modify, maybe with the exception of the older 1.7. And given those engines had issues with the blocks cracking, the last thing I’d want to do is add more power.
Your only option really is to K-swap, which will run you a few grand.
