Help identifying missing part

Hi everybody. I opened the hood of my car and see a missing part but have been unable to identify it. Really appreciate your help. It’s the one circled in yellow (triangle like). Thanks.

Re: Help identifying missing part

Wait. I think I might have found it. Engine bay didn't look like an 8thgen, so I randomly searched for parts on a '14 ex sedan. Looks like it might be the resonator chamber splash guard, P/N 17256-R1A-A01 (#9 on the diagram below). You also might need two of #12 on the diagram, P/N 91549-P1E-003. The parts are cheap enough that I'd just go to the dealership for those. At the very least, show them the price on Majestic Honda (the links on the part numbers) and see if they'll match it. I'd expect to pay probably $20 at a dealership for the 3 pieces. You're looking at about the same price shipped from Majestic Honda. Those clips are more expensive than the damn splash guard itself. lol.

Just make sure that under where that triangular piece goes is a tube that leads to a big black plastic chamber. How the diagram is drawn put the location in the appropriate location for your missing piece

Re: Help identifying missing part

Thank you very much! That is the part.

yes, there is a tube down there. When I took a look it didn’t look right so I went in to look at a stock photo and saw the difference.

Thabks again!

No problem! I'm honestly surprised I was able to find it, basically on a whim. lol
