Shifting Gears
May or may not be a stupid question. Have a 14 civic ex 5 speed automatic. Sometimes when I want faster acceleration and speed I'll drive in D3 or 2 from stop to get faster pickup and while still in motion and around 5-6k rpm I'll shift up to whatever gear is 1 higher than the one I'm in. Is this bad for the transmission/car?
