2013 Honda Civic Steering Fluid
2013 Honda Civic Steering Fluid
Hello everyone,
Pardon my ignorance. I have a 2008 Honda Civic Coupe and I change the steering fluid here and there. However, I saw a picture of the engine of the 2013 model. I noticed there is no power steering fluid reservoir. Also I noticed the same was with the new Hyundai's as well. Are companies starting to not use steering fluid. I am most likely wrong but where did it go? I don't think new civic is drive-by-wire.
Thanks guys.

I don't think new civic is drive-by-wire.
All models have electric throttle, and most have for close to a decade already.
9th gen-- 2012 and newer Civics have EPS, Electric Power Steering.
Several other Honda models use it too, and it has been around for a number of years.
Pretty damn reliable so far IMO, I wish all of the cars would use it.
Other manufacturers have been way ahead of Honda in some of these areas.
