Hello all, I just bought a 2021 civic hatchback. Looking to haul my kayaks however I was sad to see there is no way to tie down a tether strap under the front end. Anyone else run into this? Is there at way to mount the towing hook to the front? Or any other work arounds.

you can get an aftermarket tow hook that attaches under the front bumper beam. Requires you to trim the front lower right trim (fog light surround, if you have factory fogs)
Example: this one from evasive motorsports. Yes, it says FK8, but all hatches share the same chassis.
Otherwise, the front tow point is kinda far back on the passenger side.

Don't have '21 Civic, but had '01, '12. and currently have '08, haul canoes. kayaks, and SUP's so I know the deal...
On the '08 the factory tie down rings are pretty far back under there, but I made a y shaped, yoke for lack of a better term, with clips so I can easily reach under and clip them on with a sliding ring to center the tie down spot. The '08 also has a tie down ring in the rear centered under the bumper.
Take a look at Thule Hood Loop and/or Thule 530 Quick Loop Strap, (Other vendors make similar) but I've used both of these options.
The Hood Loops work, but one of my Civic's did not have bolts that would work, so I used the 530 loop instead.
