help get 2020 civic lx or ex which do you ownfer
dont know what to get civic lx or civic ex. plain civic ex has nice features no sun roof but does not have android play. ex has android play, bigger engine and some other nice features. Really not thrilled with sun roof sunroof, but to get android play have to get ex.. I dont mind bigger engine if ride is same. lx seems a little bare to other fringes. so what do you think is it worth to get ex.. Is the ride same on both due wheel size and is sunroof a bad thing. so give me your opinion, so how does lx compare to ex in general. is accerelation smooth in ex and which takes bumps better soSO WHAT DO YOU THINK
have honda accord 2000 so time for new car, civc. almost same size of old honda 2000 accord.. good with computers the instructions on this car seem complicated

Hatch? Coupe/Sedan? It does make a difference.
Hatch only comes in 1.5T
Coupe/sedan LX only comes in the 2.0 non-turbo. Looks like they got rid of the non-turbo EX trim, so that would be a turbo
Haven't heard much about the 158hp 2.0L.
My 2018 hatch has the 1.5T and it's incredibly fun to drive. Still gets great gas mileage, too.

The 2.0 Engine EX no longer exist.....It, was what I wanted. I need to drive the 1.5 to try it out. Not a fan of premium fuel requirement though.

Like brotatochip said, premium isn't required. Even on the Type R, 87 is required, while 91 is recommended. The 1.5T gets far better fuel economy with 91 octane, enough for me to justify the cost increase. Then again, mine is tuned and now requires 91 octane

Hmm, I've never tried premium in our Civic. We used only regular fuel and averaged 43.5 mpg over a 1,400 round trip down to North Carolina.

I did an experiment with a road trip with mine. Vegas to the Bay Area and back. Overall, elevation and road grade stayed fairly consistent. Tank of 87 octane kept at 30-32mpg. Tank of 91 octane was 36-42mpg. Then again, the Sport trim has an advanced knock sensor so it actually benefits from premium fuel. That's what gives it the 180hp rating vs. the 174hp rating of the EX-T/EX-L's 1.5T.
Now, with my tune and not getting on the throttle, 50/50 split city/hwy miles, last few tanks were 32-34mpg. I've seen a lot of 40+MPG screenshots from the fancy infotainment/digi cluster. I'm wondering how accurate those are, since my calculated fuel economy vs indicated is always off by 1-2mpg. Wondering if Honda's algorithm inflates those numbers for reasons. lol

I just picked up a 2020 Civic Hatchback Sport CVT in Sonic Grey Pearl and it’s awesome!!
just look at the trims and see what you absolutely need, might be worth spending a bit more of you’d find something useful or saving if you wouldn’t use something.
