Hi All,

I'm currently shopping for a 2019 Civic Sedan, precisely the Sport trim (Canadian version) that is between the EX and Touring. I was wondering if some of you currently have this car and if so, what you think about it? This new version in 2019 (for Sedans) is basically just an EX with leather/fabric seats, fog lights, centre exhaust and 18'' wheels. I believe the Sport trim in USA is below the EX trim so it would not be comparable with our version.

I've owned several Civic (1992, 1997, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2009 to be precise) in my life and I always loved driving them. Needless to say that it's obviously the perfect vehicle for a high school / college / university student! I drove the 2019 Civic last month and was impressed by its size and capacity. They improved a lot in all aspects as compared to my previous 2009, hence why I'm considering. Plus, Honda Sensing seems really cool.

I think I'm getting a 2019 Civic Sport Coupe. I've been waiting for a higher trim of the 2.0 engine forever. I have a 19 CRV..and I would not touch the 1.5L turbo since I live in Iowa. I would never reccomend the 1.5L turbo to anyone who has winters (or just don't use it in the winter) as oil dilution is an issue.

That being said. I had last gen civic. The 2.0 engine in the current generation is still among the best engines in the class and the civic, from my testing, drives better than any other car in the class by a wide margin. The Sport edition is such a crazy deal. I am assuming that 2021 is a new model year and its common for Honda to release a sport at the end of the cycle to help move units.
