NYS Compliant Downpipe

Just got a 2017 Civic Sport 1.5L and I’m on the hunt for a catted performance downpipe. Here’s the twist: I need one that is NYS compliant. I want the best performance while staying street legal. I’ve looked online and I can’t find one that clearly states that it’s NYS compliant. Does anyone have any recommendations?

The PRL catted downpipe says it's 49-state legal

okay I actually saw that one but I wasn’t sure if it was or not. It didn’t clearly specify. Thanks!

Re: NYS Compliant Downpipe

np. From my understanding, NY just does an OBD scan, right? Unlike cali where they have to undergo a visual, too. As long as it doesn't throw a code and all sensors ready, you should be fine. I think you can have one in not ready, but I'm not 100% on that. ****, here in NV, I pass smog with KTuner's 21psi tune running.

edit: If you need some reassurance of quality, PRL has some of the best stuff for the 10thgen. 27WON, too (but their catted downpipe is out of stock, and says nothing about 49-state legal). Vincent (owner of 27WON) just posted on another forum saying all their test cars passed NV state emissions, since they moved down here to Vegas from the PNW like.. a few months ago.

edit2: OH big thing I should mention.. You may snap a turbo outlet bolt during the install. I've read many, many posts where people snap bolts installing downpipes, turbo blankets, etc., even while being extra careful. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Re: NYS Compliant Downpipe

Thank you for everything bro I appreciate it. I got the stock manifolds off my 5.4 Triton and replaced them with headers before I got my civic so I know my way around broken bolts.
