Angry I avoided potholes ALL winter!!!

Darn it! I made it all winter without hitting any major potholes and then, wouldnt you know it....last week i hit the MASSIVE depression in the road and wouldnt you know it....my car wasnt corning like it used to before the bump....sooo I take it in to get my inspection <its my 21st B-day this saterday > and I found out to my dismay I have 3, count um, 3 blown struts, two in front, and one in the rear.

so heres my question, if im not mistaken, The suspension of the RSX is rather close to the civic suspension.....soooo if I were to buy some aftermarket RSX struts/ springs, would I be able to make them fit with a minimum ammount of fabrication? if so, any ideas? Im trying to keep it under $700.

Oh hey, and GREY: I have a gel-coted carbon fiber front trim for you if you still want one. PM me.

Damn! 3 blown struts!!! Um, that sucks. Hmm... That's making me think... Maybe mine are blown too? I've noticed a little more bodylean in the corners than I had before. I'll check them out today. Maybe they're just wearing though?

As for the RSX's suspension. Yep. It'll fit. There's some problem with the tie rods up front though. It's like there's not enough adjustment thread on the tie rods to get the camber / toe perfect. Maybe threading that tie rod further would solve the problem? Ask ASWzero. He bought Tein Flex's for the RSX; he's got that problem.

Sending PM now...

Oh yeah, happy B-Day!!!

hey...i was wondering about that too...just cause im leasing and honda parts are preferred for me. but if you bought your car, koni yellows might be less expencive and probably better performance.
i think a set of 4 struts is like under $600 def. from tornactive.

My friend works at Honda in the repair center and told me that there are problems with the struts in our cars. He told me that if there are any problems to bring my car in and they would replace them. So bring your car back to honda and tell them you heard about a service bulliten about the struts leaking. Just make sure you put your factory springs back in if you dropped it any.
